Preparation checklist for the local project team
Author planning suggestions:
- Identify the species, product range, operating pattern and site.
- Confirm land/building and environmental screening with the local team.
- Review receiving, slaughter, dressing and clean-product movement with the veterinary authority.
- Define the religious-assessment scope or the accepted conventional method.
- Allocate personnel, utilities, waste, inspection and cold-chain responsibilities.
- Record the authority decisions and document revisions still pending.
Record the effective version before relying on a source
- Indonesia Agriculture Minister Regulation No. 11/2020 was repealed by No. 34/2025, effective 9 December 2025; PP 42/2024 replaced PP 39/2021 for the JPH framework.
- Kazakhstan Order No. 7-1/347 is repealed; use the current slaughter/facility rules and confirm the local veterinary procedure.
- Uzbekistan Cabinet Resolution No. 139/2017 is repealed; use the current permit law and official portal service with territorial confirmation.
- A publication, upload or announcement date is not automatically the commencement date; check the edition effective for the application and product date.
Use the country note for the detailed source record
Each country note separates official requirements from halal assessment and non-halal route review, lists the unresolved local questions, and records the authority, version, status and check date of its references. Do not substitute a pig-specific scalding or non-halal requirement into a cattle project.
