Select the cattle slaughter route before designing the front end. The halal and non-halal conventional routes have separate operating-method decisions and review responsibilities. Each route page follows the complete equipment sequence and links to a matching new-facility solution.
| Decision | Halal route | Non-halal conventional route |
|---|---|---|
| Method review | Nominated halal certifier plus the veterinary/operating authority; confirm any permitted stunning method. | Local veterinary/operating authority and the plant’s approved stunning/slaughter procedure. |
| Front-end scope | Accepted animal presentation, restraint, slaughter access, supervision and bleeding arrangement. | Selected handling, stunning/slaughter work positions, verification checks and bleeding arrangement. |
| Dressing interfaces | Carcass and offal identification, inspection, cleaning and scheme-specific separation. | Carcass and offal identification, veterinary inspection, cleaning and the approved product route. |
| New facility | Halal cattle abattoir scope | Conventional cattle abattoir scope |
Use the equipment guide after choosing the route
Rehanging, hide pulling, evisceration, splitting, washing and cold-room rail transfer use similar types of mechanical stations. Their physical configuration follows the selected procedure, building and any required route separation. The process guide identifies these connections without deciding a plant’s method or certification status.
